56K Total Reach DDS - Line Powered

The Data 56K DDS and Adtran Total Reach 56K DDS optical interface cards isolate a 56K DDS network over a PSTN connection. Data is sent at different rates from 2.4 kbs to 64 kbs. The OEI optical module is locally powered from -48Vdc. LEDs on the faceplate of the OEI card provide operational status.

The CFJ optical module interfaces with the C.O. and is powered by sealing current.

The OEI optical module interfaces with the Station-terminating equipment.
