The DUAL POTS FXS TeleLite interface card represents the OEI (Optical Electrical Interface) or "Station-side" of a hybrid fiber isolation scheme. The DUAL POTS FXS card is locally powered by -48 Vdc via a TeleLIte shelf. The DUAL POTS FXS interface card provides battery feed, ringing generation, off-hook, and ring-trip detection to the station equipment. This card permits Caller ID.
The DUAL POTS FXO TeleLite interface card represents the CFJ (Copper Fiber Junction) or "CO-side" of a hybrid fiber isolation scheme. The DUAL POTS FXO is locally powered by -48 Vdc via a TeleLite shelf. It interfaces to the CO and provides ringing detection and generates off-hook signalling back to the CO. This card meets the FCC ON-HOOK resistance requirements. This card permits Caller ID.
