Power/Access Plug-in Card (50W)

The Power/Access Plug-in Card provides -48Vdc power to any TeleLite shelf from a 120Vac or 130Vdc power source (input). It offers the same Local and Remote alarms connectivity as the Access card as well as a new power alarm connectivity feature, which enables a connection to an alarm panel for remote monitoring of power failures relating to the shelf.

The Power/Access card can be used in all TeleLite shelves:

• The Power/Access plug-in card provides 50W @ 48 Vdc to power TeleLite fiber service cards from a source of 120 Vac or 130 Vdc. The DC power input is isolated from ground so as not to compromised the floating nature of the substation batteries. The Power/Access card can be inserted any card slot. The input connection is made via the faceplate of the Power/Access card on Vin+ and Vin- screw terminals.
